Pretty much, the PCB boards are through hole which is unusual for the price point, this makes it much easier to de-solder. There are thin ribbon cables going to the board and the front panel controls which you need to be careful of, but pretty easy.

Don't know how the sag is setup, but it seems to be sensitive to gain and volume. Try changing the 12AX7 in the Syn-1.
