Personally hum doesnt bother so much, you cant hear it when your playing. with any high gain amp there will be some hum. I dont know if you talking about a normal amount of hum or an unusual amount of hum, which is what your would need to find out, by comparing to another amp, or posting a video...

Where is V1, V2, and V3?

I was just on the Randall site (T2HLE), and it looks like theres a new T2 being released. I couldn't find any info on it outside of the Randall site. But from the specs and picture on the site, it looks like its completely identical except for the wattage, and Aesthetics/knob layout. I'm dying...

When trying the effects loops I also noticed some tone killing, even with no actual pedals plugged into it. With it on, it is brighter, and thinner, with less sag, mids, and smoothness.
