I just put in two Sovtek 6L6's in my RM-100 and it brightened it up quite a bit. I had to back off the presence (which is a good thing). All in all, the Sovtek tubes are nice.

I do, and I really like it. I use my GT-8 to get all kinds of tones out of it. I can boost it, change the eq, etc, so it is very versatile.

Thanks much. I have an RM100 head. I keep forgetting the trick about turning the master volume up loud and using the mod's level control for the actual volume.

As a new owner of a Mr. Scary mod, I have to say...WOW!! I hope all the Lynch mods are so dead on. I would like to have the Brahma, but I can never crank my amp up. Oh well. Next up....1086.
