If you want more gain than the Metroplex you should probably go HBE.
Metroplex probably has more gain on tap than a typical 800 preamp section, it has 4 gain stages while an usual 800 only has 3 gain stages (Plexi has 2).
Because people just copy their stuff without asking. :lol: :lol: :lol:
There're a couple Marshall and Fender type modules in the current Synergy lineup.
Sounds meh to me. Analog cab sims tend to have that "tearing cardboard" quality which I can't unhear no matter how much the designer tried to refine the EQ curve.
Just get a cheap IR loader pedal.

Haven't played/heard the modules but in terms of actual Fenders, the Tweed amps have more sag and mid hump than the Blackface ones. The typical "Fender clean" you're thinking about are probably Blackface.
