I agree with what you said 100%. I had a mesa single recto and a V2 at the same time and decided to sell the mesa They are both great amps and are similar. I think the Randall has a lot more chunk to it though

Thanks for the info. I did read that some of these amps shipped with bad tubes. Hopefully that's the problem thanks

I bought a V2 a few months back and it has never had any sustain. If I want to strum a chord and let it ring it just seems to fizzle right out. Has anyone else had this problem? Thanks
