ha ha yeah, but it is weird I'm thinking that something did pop in there and now it's leaking because I remember smelling some burn smell... I will have to take it to an amp tech.

Well, I don't think something spilled on it because it's not dry and the fluid has the same color as oil does and if something spilled on it.. It would be dry by now but it looks like it's fresh.

I might have found the problem..there's this brown fluid leaking out of the out on the left where the power cord gets plugged in. What is that? Its on the bottom. I just noticed it. :shock:

I can't seem to find a Randall Authorized Service Center close by to get my amp repaired at. I'm thinking about getting it repaired by a local repair shop here called Skip Simmons amp repair. It's the closest amp repair shop around here and he seems to be claimed by reviewers of being an expert...

I don't have any hands on experience in opening tube amps. So, I'm not even going to try or attempt at all but I will take it to get it repaired by a professional tube amp tech around here. Anybody have a rough idea of how much repairing a tube amp cost? Thanks for the info.

Anybody know anything? The amp still turns on and the tubes get warm still but it doesn't make any sound or any humming and it doesn't seem to recognize the instrument. I'm not sure if it is a tube problem. Also There was a slight burn smell after the sound got cut off. Tube fuse? or possibly a...

Ok, I had a hard time looking for a hi gain module for sometime so I got the 1086 and I also got the KH3 both sound really good but the 1086 haves a deep tone to it and crunchy sound compared to the KH3 is better I tought I would like the KH3 more but nope.Although the Ultra XL would be good...

The 1086 is good and I always use it on 10 on the gain with the gain boost and I honestly have to say it still needs a little more kick to it in order for it to be really good.
