whats your opinion of the CLEAN module ? how does it compare to the DLX or TWEED or BLACKFACE ? I have the TWEED, which is nice. Not as much head room as I would like.

I'm thinking XTC and BLACKFACE i have: PLEXI (LOVE) S+ TWEED TOP BOOST Tell me, will the XTC be much different than the S+ or TOP BOOST ? Also, does black face really sound like a TWIN ? THANKS ! :lol:

No, I'm not talking about the whole knob coming off the prong. You have two parts, the BUSHING and outer housing. The outer housing will just spin. so, I used epoxy to glue together, seems to help. Also, I've had modules that don't even fit. The dam TUBE cage is tooooo TALL. COME ON RANDALL...

I've had a few knobs that are loose. You can pull the knob right off the core. so, i glued both pieces together. Lets see, i've had FIT and Knob problems on my modules. Maybe, RANDALL should do something...... :shock:

Yes, I have had fit problems also. 3 of the 4 I have will not with the TUBE SCREEN on, so I removed it. I really don't know why the screen is on there. Is it to cut down on noise or heat :?:

I have the: 1. TWEED 2. PLEXI 3. TOP BOOST 4. SL+ uhhhh, they sound different :shock:

I know that changing to different pre amp tubes can change the headroom. I believe the 12AX7 breaks up earlier than others.

I currently have the following modules with no mods: 1. S+, I think this Modules comes close to a Modern Marshall DSL. At low setting (9:00) it has a little too much Gain. This Mosule works great with the bright switch. 2. Tweed, I was very suprised how close this sounded to a Fender Bassman...

There is little difference when switching the bright switch on or off on my TOP BOOST module. All my other modules, the BRIGHT switch has great contrast. TOP BOOST owners please let me know if your BRIGHT switch makes any difference. If so, what would you think is wrong with my BRIGHT. THANKS[/b]
