Try plugging it in both ways. My foot switch is very temperamental but sometimes if it does not work I simply unplug end that connects to the amp and put it into the foot switch and bingo everything works.

They are quite different amps. Warhead was totally solid state and had on board effects creating the gain.
V2 and T2 sound quite different due to the tube preamp, more chunky and full sounding.

JJ's are pretty average in my opinion. Too dark and muddy sounding. Groove tubes are nice and smooth but not very high gain. Tung-sols are best for this amp series. Clear, high gain and more three dimensional.
