I'm a little different (laugh right about now....) I let the wood and tubes (and ICs) tell me what they have to offer. I listen to everything (and anything!!!)..and decide if it "works". I tried the "4 different amps in a rm4" concept and while that was fun....it went out of style for me. I have fou...

There is Good Marshall and bad Marshall..... if it's the old Tube Marshalls....up to the 900 series... Man, oh man...they are really good at High Volume Crunch. Almost like a drum kit..so percussive. If you were raised on Zep and Halen and the British Rock scene (Bad Co, anyone??????).....if so....y...

The guitar was/is a Westone Pantera. I like them..but they never succeeded in the market place, hence only about 100 were made. The one I was looking at was screwed, as far as I can determine....wood screws were put in place of the bridge pivots. YUCK. So I had to pass. I am comfortable with my deci...

Thank you...

Thank you for your ideas... I let it slip away. I'll tell you why: I emailed the owner...the more I learned, the more I knew the guitar would require 300-600 worth of work to be playable (bridge posts are WOOD SCREWS!!..not the original posts) . Further I don't know of any luthier I trust enough to ...

Rm4 into Fx unit sounds THIN..why???????????

Hi, I love my rm4 and today hooked up 2 very good Fx units to it..no matter what it sounds thin. Specifics: Rm4 serial out into Tc Gmaj 2 in and back into serial return. I also tried the parrelel loop. I even dug out my Rocktron Chameleon and when thru that. same thin sound. The best tone was the PR...

Rob,
just a question...
what would it cost to build a proper rm22 combo with a single 1-12" speaker (Celestion Greenback)? under 40 pounds.
