Did you mean the RT2/50? I haven't heard of an RT2. It looks like the RT2/50 is indeed missing from the Randall site right now. Yes that was what I was refering to. Missing from Sweetwater and Amazon as well. http://www.sweetwater.com/store/detail/RT250 http://www.amazon.com/Randall-RT250-2-channel...

RT2/50 no longer available?

My apologise if this has already been covered, but it seems the RT2/50 power amp has been discontinued. Through my search on this I read a small blip on some forum about Randall replacing it with a newer power amp but I don't see one on the site. You guys have any details on this. To date this is th...

Great idea! I am planning on getting an RM4 to run with my Road King once I get the cash. With the Roadking you can switch from EL34's to 6L6's in the middle of a song if you want to with the footswitch. I think this would be a killer application with the RM4. One of the reasons I am hesitant to do ...

Anyone think Randall will ever re-issue the RG100ES??

I had one back in the 80's. Absolutely loved it. Was funny because I had a Laney pro tube I took in to Joe's Music or something like that in RI to be looked at. He had the Randalls lined up and said I needed to try it. After about thirty seconds i told him to hold on to the Laney as a down payment. ...

Any chance you can post a clip of what it sounds like with the silent recording?

Yeah, the AXE FX sounds real good, but I'm not ready to drop that much money on something that will be absolete in a year to products probably half it's price. But it is the one modeler that I have heard where I actually think the clips sound good. I was tempted to just go buy a POD, but when I hear...

Any RM20 owners use silent recording?

I am rather curious the quality of sound you get out of this. Especially compared to a modeler? I am really leaning towards an Rm20 combo at this point. And nothing would please me more then to be able to plug into the mixing board at night and lay down some decent sounding tracks while the wife and...

ON this website is says 72 pounds, but I have a hard time believing that. http://www.music123.com/Randall-RM100C1-Tube-Combo-Amp-481255-i1145548.Music123 My Mesa Road King combo weighed over 100 pounds, before I went ahead and built a head cab and moved the electronics into it. I have to believe the...

The RM20 has a great 'silent' mode where you can just run the mic elim without the speaker to record silently.
Anyone have any clips of this?

This is really where I am leaning.

With the wife and kid, this feature would be awesome. But it has to sound good!

Yes the Mic Eliminator takes its signal from AFTER the power amp section. It does indeed sound awesome. I actually prefer to use the Mic Eliminator live or a drunk sound guy who doesn;t really care if he mics the cabs logo or the speaker. I also use the Mic Eliminator to feed my IEM's. Sound wise I...

Re: yup

Great feature IMO i heard it's supposed to emulate a sm57 in front of a Vintage 30 ...and i believe that is resonably accurate so if that's what you got for a set up or are you to recording you'll get along just fine with it... i've recorded both and panned them left/right and it's hard to tell whi...

Mic Eliminator

Anyone got any clips they have recorded using the mic elimnator? Is this a good feature that can really take the place of micing a cab, or just something you do when you need to keep the volume down? Is the signal coming out of the mic eliminator the preamp section only? Meaning is any influence on ...

Re: Anyone wanna trade empty headshell for an empty combo?

I picked up an RM50 recently, however its a combo and I'd rather have a head version. Anyone interested in trading an empty RM50 headshell for an empty RM50 combo shell? I know its unlikely but worth a shot before I just sell it outright. Build your own. I did for my Mesa Roadking. I loved the comb...
