Any boost or effect in general should go right into the input on the amp. I use the effects loop just for a hush unit

It was a RGT 100 ES.. The all tube version of the RG 100 ES

Damn that's in great shape.. I think it was well worth what ya paid...congrats.

You can still find decent used heads from 200.00 to 300.00 bucks. There worth picking up just because of the price! There's one on my local craigs list right now for 100.00, I'm sure thinking about it!

I use rackmount Rocktron hush units thru the amps effect loop, works like a champ.

I have two of these, one in snakeskin tolex the other in black. I paid $600.00 at the most for one of mine. What do you think? There are rg200es and rg100es right? Any others? Head versions are the RG80ES, RG100ES, RG170ES, and the RG200ES. They also have the XP versions of the 100 and 170 I think. The rack version of the RG100ES is the RG100HT. Same thing but in rack form. Dimebag used old carpeted versions of the RG100ES...
