it switches in & out the 22uf with the 1uf, you should actually hear a difference. I have done this on every piece i've owned. On cleans if you have the 22uf engaged they will be big and lush (just like fenders etc.), but on high gain i would turn it off so your gain is tight (like on mesa, framus e...

I retract my post that "this does not work"

In a sense, it does work, much like if you roll the volume or tone on your guitar down by half, you get a thinner more choked or dull sound, but hey, it works!

I tried exactly what you have spoken about. It strangles the tone completely, that would be my main gripe, along with a rough tone still and loss of low end, I have 2 RM100's that i tried it on. Now, have you tried it? Also, do you know who designed this? Who said it was meant to be more transparent...

It bogs down the signal and overloads it even more, have you tried it yourself? I have talked to Bruce about many ways of doing it without success

Ahhh awesome, i had an RM4/RT2:50/BOSSGTPRO rig which was just flawless which I gigged extensively for years, moved into other things and have just recently fallen back to rack, hahah, beats me!
