Keep it unless you really need that $$$...They are selling for peanuts and are worth much more in my opinion... Absolutely, Matt. These amps are going for less than an iphone. It's some BS and I believe that it will turn around in time. When you think about it, It's a freaking tube amp with decent ...

My opinion is to keep the RM50 around. They don't have great resell value right now, so you'd be better off just hanging onto it.

Re: Failing Amp!

Ok I had a bad preamp tube go out about two years back and I called a few places to get bench prices. One repairman said if it was something small like a bad tube I should just sell my RM100 since they are a pain to work on. As a tech and a guy that works on all types of amps every day, this is the...

I use the Tech21 XXL pedal. Easily one of the most underrated pedals of all time. Has a cool "Warp" control that adjusts the balance of even and odd order harmonics. It's great for subtle boost, but can get some vicious gain with the Drive knob dimed!! Max the Warp knob and you are in fuzz territory...

+1 On the Deluxe mod. I own every stock clean module made except for the JTM. For blues the Deluxe will get you those extra mids you are looking for. Put an OD in front and you are good to go. I have a Gigmods Twin that has a switch on it that takes it from Blackface to Deluxe tones. Best clean mod ...

Extremely easy. The power supply has 2 output plugs and came with screw on adapters for the LED strips. Took all of 5 minutes to get it all set up. Here's the ebay ads I used. Monte says that if you have a well set up nut already, you can benefit from just using the tuning offsets. I don't have an accurate enough tuner right now because I mainly just use the tuner on the GMajor2. I got a hardtail guitar with a really good nut setup, so I'll post up some results when I get...

Actually, I think the most unique module would be a clean/acoustic modeler module. It would be SO nice to switch to an acoustic sound without having an extra stompbox to adjust levels/tones/extra cabling/ etc. So, Rob, please make an acoustic modeler module. Thanks, Everybody I second that! :D Hmmm...

Power amp completely down, make a quick module switch, power up the amp again before the tubes cool.

In addition to my previous post i must add that a Sovtek....yes a cheap a$$ Sovtek 12ax7wa in V2 with an AC5HG+ in VI sounds super cool. about as focused and balanced as the AC5 in VI and Mullard RI in V2. the Sovtek a nice organic vibe. I feel ya' man. A tube is still a tube and that is a very goo...

That is just killer!! Great work. I don't think I've ever seen anything quite like it in MTS. It's got loads of vibe. Kudos sir!! 8)
