My rig had these same symptoms a few years ago. Turned out to be the volume pots in the power amp. Had them replaced & it fixed the problem completely. Could be worth checking.

Makes total sense. 8)

Seriously, we should be damn thankful for the backward compatibility. Improving the platform they use and offering new modules. Thank you Bruce! I'm assuming this means the new platform will accept old modules, but NOT the other way around (as in: old platform accepting new modules)? No, the Bruce ...

Re: Move it on down....Where do you EQ your mods?

But my ear tends to settle in the same spot on many mods....Do you guys share this experience? Glad to know I'm not the only one doing this!! I tend to have about the same EQ settings as you do, with the exception of the Primate mod... I have the bass almost dimed on that one. For some reason...

This would totally rock. Could we also have a head cabinet choice, such as a regular head cabinet & a one with a 1U rack slot built in?

For me, I've found that having the same modder's mods in one amp helps keep noise levels more consistant... I only have 1 donor left, & will have the same modder do the work. My other 3 modules really "hang" well together. So, whith that being said... I wish all of the modders would collaborate on a...

I also have a Mach X from Jaded Faith. I love this thing. It's high gain, but it's more of a smoother, vintage "Mark" high gain... if that makes sense. It's not like an Ubersonic/Super-Clean combination or anything... but it fills in the 2 tone-voids that I had, perfectly. :D

Having spent the last few days with the Mach X, I'm impressed! I really wasn't expecting all the crunch and "in between" tones to be as awesome as they are. Let the MOD50 hunt begin! Same here! I'm really digging mine too. So cool to have a clean channel & a heavy channel. How do you have yours set...

Marco, your playing is GREAT, man!! The XTC sounds really nice. Can your module do the blue channel as well? What are your opinions of the Red vs Blue channels?
