800 Tones with Salvation Duoplex?

Does anyone have a good way to do this? I've been using various boosts and whatnot and while the tone is great, it does not really sound like an 800.

Who's got the fool-proof and simple way to coax these tones out of this mod?

Re: Evil Kitty vs Match(Vox)

It is slightly Voxy at certain settings. It;s more in the Marshall camp than Vox. sort of Voxy Marshall. You are thinking of the Black Cat which is a Vox AC type amp. It's a great module, just not very Voxy. It has way more bottom end and a much different gain texture. EDIT: YOu asked if it compare ...

Re: Salvation - recent user experiences?

You place your order via email and send your module. He doesn't charge you until he sends it back. He's busy so comm may be slow. I'm sure he'll respond f you bug him a bit for order acknowledgment

FS Dirty Sanchez / Dirty Shirley SOLD

SOLD but worth doing yourself This was a Top Boost modded to a Dirty Shirley with the help of CrazyNuts here on this forum. It has two switches, one for low/high input (although I can't tell much of a difference) and one for bass response (Marshall/Fender. The Fender setting sounds thinner and honk...

Re: Telefunken Tubes

Good to know. I do have a handful of vintage Telefunken 12ax7 tubes. Dumpster diving outside an old building. I've tried them in various positions but never heard much of a difference. I don't think I tried the phase inverter position.

Re: Salvation - recent user experiences?

I haven't purchased Salvation in a few years but I understand he is quite busy with other production work but is still very much dedicated to MTS. Some missed responses have happened but he always gets back if you pester a bit. It's a totally custom piece made overseas bu one guy. It's understood th...

Re: Sacred Groove Vox mods

I've had the CC30 for a while. It's the closest to an AC sound out of the 3 V mods I've owned. I also use a Wampler 30 Something pedal to boost the boxy Voxy tone but for the most part it does a great job alone to replicate the edge of breakup sound of Classic Ac30. I'm still really curious about th...
