Thanks for the info!

I am running the rig in my signature: RM4 into VHT power amp. Currently I'm using a Randall XL cab with Vintage 30s. I also just ordered a Marshall JMD head, but it has not arrived yet.

Egnater 212 cab

I've generally played 412 cabs in the past but am considering picking up a 212. I'd like a tighter sound with slightly less bass than my 412. Can anyone here vouch for the Egnater Tourmaster 212 cab? How do the Celestion Elite 80 speakers compare to Vintage 30s? Any input on this cab or these speake...

I've also heard a ton of good things about the VHT/Fryette offerings. The gold standard of power amps. I've been using the VHT/Fryette 2/50/2 for seveal years now. It's not as expensive as most folks think. I paid $899 for mine brand new from Guitar Asylum, and that was not part of any special sale...

I don't have any personal experience with the Marshall 20/20 myself...but when I was shopping/researching power amps, I read in numerous places that the Marshall 20/20 sounds good but is prone to overheating.

My rig gets significantly brighter as the night goes on. Not a little bit, SIGNIFICANTLY. I try to adjust the presence on my power amp to compensate, but it's a pain in the ass, nonetheless. I don't know if it's my RM4 or the VHT power amp that's to blame. I've changed the power tubes a few times wi...

To harsh: I just noticed in another thread that you're in a modern metal band. IMO, you really should be looking at the H & K Coreblade, not the Switchblade. The Coreblade is H & K's new, metalized version of the Switchblade. While the Switchblade appears to be voiced for classic rock/hard rock, the...

1. Wear a chastity belt to any meeting with the record company. 2. Whatever you do, do not sign an "intent to sign" contract with the company. Sometimes the A&R guy will push one of these, saying "don't worry, all it does is formalize our intent to sign you to our label." These "intent to sign" agre...

Bump.

I'm also dying to hear some real world feedback on this amp. Most of the youtube clips I've heard sounded very promising, but they're often at bedroom volume and the real test of an amp is in a band situation at gig volumes.

Anyone? :?:
