Re: Difference Between the Pitbull and Deliverance?

I have both and they both sound similar when compared to other high gain modules. Side by side with just them, they sound pretty different and I’m not one for describing what I hear. The deliverance sounds rounder, fatter if that makes any sense. I own 11 synergy modules and have owned bunches and b...

Re: RM 1250 + duals midi switching

I’ll answer my own question in case anyone ever looks at this forum for info. Morningstar MC8. Seems the 1250 only talks in midi channel one although there is a red dip switch like an Egnater M4 behind the left middle slots (behind the modules). Mine didn’t change anything. Randall’s documentation s...

Re: CC Number and CC Value

From what I can tell, that should do something like you want.

If not, you are close enough to figure it out with trial and error.

Re: CC Number and CC Value

Are each of the syn2 on the same channel or does each have its own unique channel? Perhaps you have already done this, If they are on different channels, just add a second line in the Morningstar editor for each button and bypass the Syn you don’t need with a second cc command mentioned earlier. Rep...

Re: CC Number and CC Value

Sorry to hear. I know it is disappointing when the whole midi thing doesn’t work.

Have you tried to get just one syn2 to work?

Re: CC Number and CC Value

I have an MC8, but don’t have a syn2. You may know everything I am about to say. The cc NUMBER will be one of the ones shown from your list for the respective channel on the Syn. Now, the cc VALUE will be 127, or basically any number above 64 to turn that channel on. The wild card is using the bypas...

Re: RM 1250 + duals midi switching

Necro bump. Finally got me a decent midi controller and am trying to get my 1250 talking to it. No luck, but I do have some specific Randall midi questions that I don’t know the answer too. I imagine if anybody has their rm4 or rm100 working with a midi controller might be able to help me with. Any ...

Check drumcityguitarland out of Colorado.

Re: NAMM and Modules

Fortunately I do not, and you wouldn’t want to hear me playing it. I will say the videos on YouTube are pretty accurate to what I hear with my ears. However, I have seen a few that don’t really understand the way the presence and depth switching works, so ignore that part. The sounds and tones are s...

Re: NAMM and Modules

I happened to check American Musical Supply the day synergy made the announcement on Facebook and happen to order one before they sold out which was in a few hours. Had it about a week now. Before I checked AMS, I had emailed my Sweetwater rep who didn’t know anything about them. I think synergy had...

Re: About to Join the Family...A Few Questions

I have an updated recommendation for you to consider if you want one module for clean to extreme:

Fryette deliverance

I got mine recently and after playing around with it, I’m very impressed. It can be set up for clean on one channel and all the gain you will need on the second.

Re: Contacting Synergy is a dud?

I have used the form on the synergy website, once, and got an email reply within a day.

I have also messaged them on Facebook, once, and received a reply within a day.

Perhaps I just got lucky, but I did at least get some sort of response.

Re: About to Join the Family...A Few Questions

Question 2: Not very hard, take two screws out of the cage and wiggle them out. I’ve seen some post on FB with someone whining about how hard it is, but seriously, come on. I’m an idiot and I never went crying on social media about how it is a deal breaker. Question 3: Actually not bad, but it is st...
