Re: Using the series and parallel loops at the same time?

Yes you can. The series loop is before the parallel loop. What do you want to achieve? If you only use the return of the series loop, then the mod will only act as a power amp. You have to complete the series loop if you want to use the mod preamp. This means connecting the send to the return someho...

If there was a way to do it, i'm sure Rob and Antonin would have been offering it by now

Re: Disable module but keep FX loop enabled

Without seeing any details of how you've actually wired this up, it sounds like you've simply not set it up correctly. You've got the syn2 in the amps fx loop? that doesn't make sense. The syn2 has two sets of send/returns, one for the amp and one for effects. Let us know if you've set it up as per ...

Re: Is there a more active forum?

In my Laney module building quest the laney posse forum rarely featured in the search results. When it did, it would be a couple of misinformed opinions, no real factual information. These would be anywhere from its inception to its demise. So when I saw it was offline permanently there was no surpr...

Re: DOOM!!!!

Sabbath to me = Laney Laney are typically Marshall based circuits with Fender bias for V1 (Generalisation here). So you're best bet would be Synergy Plexi/Metroplex/800 module with the Fender/1.5k 22uF cathode setting. I would try the Plexi first though. I don't have any of those modules so perhaps ...

Re: Randall Modern to Orange Rockerverb - Sorted

Not really unfortunately. Other things have been getting in the way. Not having the means readily available to finish the chassis is the biggest issue. So i'm getting a bunch of modules done to a point where i can do the chassis work on all of them at the same time. I keep changing my mind on the sw...

Re: BB/BE, OS and Savage modules in stock at Sweetwater

It is a manual switch, so it depends on what modules you have in the RM100. If all three are Marshall based, then no. If you have one Fender, Soldano and Marshall then you will have to change the switch to get the same response as the Synergy heads. Synergy amps + Synergy modules = automatic Randal...

Re: BB/BE, OS and Savage modules in stock at Sweetwater

Your most cost effective option will be to have a cathode bias switch installed on your RM100, or have the stock cathode bias set to whichever Synergy setting you are most likely to use. Thanks for the info! Is the cathode bias switch something that I'd have to change with each module on the RM100?...

Re: BB/BE, OS and Savage modules in stock at Sweetwater

So, I'm thrilled with the sound of the first channel of the ENGL Savage in the RM100. But from reading this forum, it seems as if I'll need either a Synergy Amp or a Syn 1 or 2 to take full advantage of the SLO, Friedman, etc. Is this correct or am I missing something? I'd like to begin adding more...

I can't find the post, but there was a mention somewhere that Rob has a mod for SLO blue channel. Can't remember what it actually changes though
