They're not the same amp. The CCV is much more modern, while the Atomica is essentially a modified Jose circuit. The modules, however, seem to be quite similar tonally. Thanks. But is the CCV and Atomica the same amp? If they aren't then I imagine there's some tonal difference. Is the CCV just an Atomica+? I'm curious now.

Rippershred. Are you putting each SYN2 in a separate loop in the Helix? Yeah dude, 4 loops = 4 different preamp units, and in this case syn2 units. I run several preamps in the loops of a Helix Rack, and that makes switching the channels (and different preamps) super convenient and easy.

I played the Bogner 20th Anniversary at NAMM and owned the Friedman BE/BB. I currently own the Soldano SLO. These modules are only getting better. I didn't bond with Friedman as much as I wanted to.
