There are going to be three Friedman modules. I emailed Dave to ask if the channels will be identical or not.

"The Shirley has 2 different gain levels, the others are the same identical channels."

The other two, being the BE and HBE modules.

Nope, not 4.0A slo blo, Rob @JF said it's a fast blow, 5 amp, 250V fuse. The size should be 5x20mm.

Okay, so it's apparently a 4.0 Amp Slo Blo fuse. Hopefully that's correct

Pete..here's a thought, why not post the Fuse types, sizes and rating. The only one I know is the external tube fuses: Glass 5x20mm Fast Blo 250V/400mA (stock was 250 or 315...they now ship with 400) and main external fuse 50W Glass 5x20mm Slo Blo 250V/3A (at 100/120V), 1.5A (at 220/240V) 100W Glas...

Just looking at old "fuse" related threads. I read on another thread the it's okay to use a 400mA fuse http://www.parts-express.com/littelfuse-400ma-gma-fast-blow-fuse-5-pcs--071-808 supposedly "Bruce said" it was okay. What does Rob say? Ever hear of that? http://mtsforum.grailtone.com/viewtopic.ph...

I bet the 800 sounds great but IMO 'the' Marshall Friedman tone on the module platform is the Brahma modded to BE specs, sounds great by it's own but takes pedals like it was built for it.....can be crunchy, can be heavy and all with Dave's special sauce. I once bought a Brahma for $150, paid $45 f...

So, if your going for Marshall tones in one dual module, it sounds like there could be more flexibility with the BE if you use a pedal also--less gain for more classic tones, and more gain by cranking the gain on the second channel and by also stomping on a pedal for even more gain. The Xotic BB ped...

Tung Sol and JJ preamp tubes - SOLD

SOLD I have three pairs of preamp tubes that were used for around 10-15 minutes each. After getting my RM100LB moded to accept dual modules and having the Foglifter+ installed, I bought several different brands of tubes to experiment with the tone. I now have these almost new tubes sitting around. T...
