Well, my point is that Hammett was just signed last week--so that is current news and not just speculation from things that happened before. I know that Randall is also in the process of trying to bring some other endorsees on board but I'm not posting any of that info since there are still things u...

I'll believe this when someone like Ned, says it's true. I said it's true because it is and I wouldn't have posted it if it wasn't. I was told by a rep from Randall/US Music Co and he said it was okay to pass that info along if I wanted. After he first told me, I asked if it was o.k. to post that i...
I just got a new MTS 2X12 with V30s, they're ported? (you mean that half of the closed back can be open to get a half closed back, right?) T.
No, the MTS 2 x 12 isn't ported... I currently have a Genz Benz 2 x 12 and those are closed back, front ported and have really nice bottom end...

Well, I was probably one of the first to put in my order for all of the Lynch gear almost a year ago. I also have the RM4--but I also have the Lynch box and the two Lynch modules... And today, the dealer that I ordered from called me to confirm my CC# for the other two modules so I'm hopeful that th...

Rick, I can also ask Gerry, George's guitar tech or George that question in the dojo and if they don't mind, I'll post what they say here. Craig's post of what Doug said is right, I was told that they were looking at the merc transformer but George liked the stock RM100 transformer at higher volumes...

Kirk Hammett head and modules coming

I was just informed by a Randall rep that I have fairly regular contact with that Kirk was just signed for a mts head and module deal. He is said to be really digging the brown module so perhaps there will be a classic as well as modern modules. I've never really thought of Kirk as a virtuoso guitar...

Super V & Brahma Mods - Will they ever surface?

About a month ago, a Randall rep explained: "You may or may not know that Randall has moved production a few times this year. The first was from overseas to the (delete name) factory and then we moved (delete name) down here to Illinois . Early last month it was decided that an outside electronics c...

Mr scary?does it sound like dokken?

George is currently working on his new album--Drumming provided by Mike Wengren of Disturbed... Anyway, according to Gerry, he went through all of the Randall modules and decided he liked the Mr. Scary the best for his lead tones. I was somewhat disappointed with the Mr. Scary at first but since it ...

I have the XTC but none of the others mentioned in this thread yet so I can't really make a first hand comparison. I do have the Grail on order and I'm thinking I might have to check out the 1086--I've heard positive comments about the 1086--very versatile. As for the Grail, it's supposed to be base...

The Mr. Scary was intended to be a soloing/lead module so not sure what all everyone is using if for. The Brahma is supposed to be the killer Lynch module coming out for rhythm that is based on the Marshall superlead. It was the last one approved by Mr. Lynch and is currently in production.
