Super V

Has anyone done any modifications to the Super V? I'm surprised these aren't more popular. The Vox AC-30 has always been a classic, but it seemed like "everyone" was using them a few years ago. I've always thought Randall should have replaced the Top Boost module with the Super V. They could have ke...

You should pick up a Mash-All. It will replace your HBE and your SL+. 4 Marshall tones in one module and they all rock.

Antonin's work is mindbogglingly good....I tried quite a few and ended up keeping his Deadplate special so far.
Which other Salvation mods have you tried?

As cool as the Mark module is, the XTC is a little more "me." It has a certain width and open sound that I like. So I'm going to try a JF XTC and see how that sounds.

FS Salvation MarkUs, Gigmods mark and stock Super V-SOLD OUT

Salvation MarkUs $425 shipped-Antonin really nailed the vintage Mesa Boogie Mark series tone. You can dial in anything from Mark 1 to the Quad preamp tones. Lots of tone options with a noise gate that works REALLY well. Personally I think this one likes EL-34s. MarkUs SOLD to JKD! Gigmods Mark $349 ...

Recording noise

Just to clarify, the noise is a "Pro Tools" issue, not a "module or amp" issue.

Clips

Guys, I'm getting some weird noise in my recordings. I loaded a couple of files to my Mobile Me account that you can download. http://public.me.com/jacenuzback There is a stereo file and two mono files. These are 24-bit/44.1Khz files. The Mark is in my 6L6 RM50 and the MarkUs is in my EL34 RM-50. Th...

So huge!

I spent quite a bit of time with the Mark module last night. It sounds SO good! If you push the gain past about 3 O'Clock it gets a little mushy, but this is how those older Mark series Boogies react. But I don't find that I need any more gain that what it offers at noon. It is a little noisy though...

Gigmods Mark and Salvation markUs

Hey guys, I just received my Gigmods Mark module from Rising Farce (thank you!) and it sounds amazing! I've had less then 10 minutes with it so far, but it seems to like the 6L6s more then the EL-34s. Which is perfect for my needs. I also have a Salvation MarkUs coming soon. I'll make some compariso...

Gain Structure

This might sound completely obvious, but for max headroom peg the master volumes on the module and poweramp section and use the pre-gain to control your output. There could also be distortion contributors downstream in the poweramp and speakers. The density/presence controls are VERY powerful on th...

Salvation MashAll

Pick up a Salvation MashAll module. It has every Marshall tone you could want and they all sound amazing. Every tone in it KILLS the stock SL+. Worked for me anyway.
Cheers,
