WTB Decimator

Might be interested to buy a Decimator Pro G Stereo Version. If anyone has one, and the price/condition are right. Anyone have one they wanna let go of?

Thanks!

Sorry for posting twice but its been long enough since that last post that I thought it was too long to edit, but... I said the V30 runs a close 4th, but I mean that in the context of the speakers that I have avail in my gear atm. I don't own any Eminence speakers, but I have played through several....

I have a buncha actual vintage Celestions from back in the day. Once upon a time that's all I used. Then I grew up ;) I've never put one of them in one of these 1x12 cabs though. I tried a V30 once, and it was OK, but I prefer the EVM12's I have some 12S's and 12L's and some 15's. I think the 12L's ...

Different types of speakers used at the same time can give you a really nice sound. I've got a Road King 2x12 that uses a vintage 30 in a sealed box on one side and Black Shadow 90 on the other side with an open back. Each speaker is great on its own and gives you two quite different voicings, but ...

I'll put it this way. Amp X has Z amount of power (Divide it up how you want, or getting more/other amps is an option too ;) ). ...but, until you push speaker A to it's max abilities (which includes it's ability to push air, which translates to db levels) speaker B is pointless (on amp 1), unless sp...

All of my MTS heads/amps are Randall. 60% of my modules are Salvation, 35% are JF, and %5 misc. others. I don't own any dual stuff. I have a few Randall modules, but they are just sitting in a box. I've been reading talk about the coming of Synergy for more years than I can remember. I'm sure it wil...

Well there seems to be a consensus that my cabinet idea sucks. It was s good theory anyways! I would have figured it out eventually. You have given me lots more to think about which is why I am here so thank you for that! I am certain I will be back with another iteration as soon as I digest and fo...

Hi Chet,

Good luck with all of your plans.

As far as the speaker cabs, have you seen this?

http://www.carltonguitars.com.au/resour ... _plans.pdf

Rewiring the 4x12's will change the tone, but it'll still suck.

Better to take the speakers out and put them in one of those. (IMO)

I say it's the cab. The other suggestions will help but the easiest answer is to pony up and drag the 4X12 out. 3 more speakers won't add any bottom end. All it'll add is a bad back lol That Bogner cube looks like a nice box. Dual ported, nice construction. If it has anything to do with the cab its...

My suggestions would be... Try running your power tubes a little hotter. The MarkUS has much more bottom than an Angel to my ears, so I doubt you'll have any luck w that. Also there's a "thick" Mod for the Mark that's pretty easy to add (if yours doesn't have a thick switch) that will give it a litt...

Yeah, it's an OK bunch of Modules. I'd get more, but there really aren't any more that I want. Curious how the SVP sounds w a Bass. Looking for a JJ Dirt probably/maybe. It wont be long and I'll email Anthony on that one I'm guessing. Never tried a Mamba/Boga, and I've always been curious about thos...

Well that would be a tall order (if not impossible) to describe. I have an RM50 an RM100 and several RM4's. Crap load of modules. I use each in many different ways. I have them all tied together with many different rack effects and processors and a junk load of different pedals.. I also have it tied...

Just sayin' whats up!

Hi, Figured I'd say Hello! Been using MTS gear for several years. Haven't bought anything new in quite a while. Joined the forum cause I was interested in the SVP that was just for sale in the classifieds, but looks like I was too late. Anyways, since I'm here figured Id say Hello.
