Re: Back to MTS,GSP1101 /pedal pedals question

My pleasure! By the way, today I tried my TC Electronics Flashback and it does indeed handle the line level effects loop even if I don't use the Ebtech LLS. Not that I'm encouraging you to buy more pedals, but the TC Electronics stuff is great and should work in the loop with no issues. The toneprin...

Re: Salvation - recent user experiences?

Appreciate the response! I was curious because I have never ordered from them or Salvation. I did recently send a module to Rob at Jaded Faith. He was amazing and only took a week to complete my Mach X. He is absolutely top-notch!

Re: Back to MTS,GSP1101 /pedal pedals question

It connects in the loop between the head and your pedalboard/effects unit. You will need 2 extra cables to run from the box to the head's effects loop jacks (use the +4db inputs on the Ebtech to connect to the amp). Then plug in your pedalboard send and return to the Ebtech (use the -10db inputs her...

Re: Using the series and parallel loops at the same time?

Yes! Thanks! I don't have any Synergy stuff yet but I was considering adding that eventually to have a really versatile rig. Could run 5 preamps then which would give me so many sounds to choose from. Appreciate it!

Using the series and parallel loops at the same time?

Does anyone know if you can safely use the series and the parallel loops at the same time on the Egnater Mod?

In other words, I was wondering if I could use my time-based effects in the parallel circuit, and still run a Synergy SYN into the return of the series at the same time.

Thanks!

Re: Chasing Tone and the Problem with GAS

My problem is I like certain aspects of various amps and modules and wish I could combine them to create the perfect tone. I'd like to take the pristine clean of the JP-2C, spice it up with some Vox AC30 character, get that Soldano harmonic content and sustain mixed with the Mesa Mark tightness. I h...

Re: Salvation - recent user experiences?

I, too, was wondering about Motor City Mods. Have any of you guys ordered successfully from them? It looks like you don't need a donor module?

Re: Back to MTS,GSP1101 /pedal pedals question

I am using the Ebtech Line Level Shifter. It's an inexpensive small passive box that converts line level to instrument level and back. To my ears, it's noise free and I haven't noticed a loss of tone. Otherwise, you can use TC Electronics toneprint pedals, which can handle a line level signal report...

Re: JJ 6V6 in Egnater Mod100

Thanks, guys! I can't even turn my master volume up much past 9 o clock right now with the 6550s. Hoping I might get a bit slower taper. If I have the module volume past noon, it gets blazingly loud quickly. Hoping as well to get a bit more softness and compression, and a bit less hardness. Probably...

JJ 6V6 in Egnater Mod100

Anyone here rocking JJ 6V6 in their Egnater Mod? I am considering them in part because the 100 watter is brutally loud with 6550s. Also, I've always enjoyed the tone from my Crate Stealth 50 combo which employs 6V6 tubes. Would love to hear some opinions from the group! Thanks!

Re: aftermarket foot switch for Egnater MOD 50

It's a simple unit, but I am loving the Tech 21 Midi Moongoose. Small footprint and well built. 5 buttons and the ability to bank up for more channels if needed. Using this with a Fender midi cable -- those are really high quality! I know this is an old thread but wanted to share with the group. Hop...

Do you still have the S1S0 module? I would be interested if the price was right.

Thanks!

Re: Telefunken Tubes

From The Tube King: "Telefunken 12AX7s are low-noise tubes that are known for their transparency, wide-band resolution, clarity and accuracy. Many audiophiles favor them for this purpose. I do not recommend Telefunken in most guitar amp applications to use as the main tube... they are too clean and ...

We will be playing at Llewellyn's in O'Fallon Missouri, outside of St. Louis, on Nov. 23, Saturday night. Show is from 7pm-11pm. Will be rocking an Egnater Mod100 loaded with JF VX30, Salvation Loneclean, Mr. Scary modules. Come on out if you can for an evening of classic to modern rock!
