hmmn, i have the level on my module maxed and the master at around 11 o'clock.

i noticed that the density doesn't do much on my amp, it does add some but not much, half way to all the way up not reall much of a difference, currently i just have to have it maxed - kinda was disapointed in it, the tone knob on my guitar adds what the density knob doesn't.

I have the same problem, i can't get a reading off any of the test points - running only two tubes in the middle right now haven't had any problems with it while at practice, but i'd like to know or figure out why can't get any reading, i can't tell if the multimeter prongs are touching anything...

So is it OK to use the 400mv even if your head didn't ship with them? Have they changed anything internally about the amp to accomodate them or did they just switch to them so they don't blow as fast?

I was underwhelmed with the 1086, then got the Ultra XL was a bit better mesh with my other guitarists sound, but still thin, then i upped the guage of my strings tonight and is was a whole new bag, much much better, also i turned my tone knob on my guitar about half way and it really rounded it...

Your soundclips are great. So on the modded clip, the avatar shows the gain real low like 1, are those meant to display at the recording settings?
