HEy guys, Quick question...which is probably a dumb question... Is the first gain stage on our modules an op-amp? Or does it vary from mod to mod? Keep in mind, I am no where close to being an amp tech. I can't read schematics. I'm merely "eyeballing" my tone.

I've recently started using deoxit on my guitar pots and have gotten excellent results - no more scratchiness whatsoever, and no dead spots. Would this oil be safe to use on the pots for our modules??? Has anyone used it on the modules?

Can someone direct me to a sort of guide/tutorial on how to replace the fan on my RM100? My fan is making too much noise at warmup. Sounds like it'll crap out sometime soon. If there isn't a guide, can anyone who has done the replacement please chime in?

I just recently found out that my Ultra XL is actually a Voodoo Amps modified UG Jose. My question is, what does each trim pot do? I have two trimpots, one in the very center, and one to the left of the module (if facing the module's knobs). Thanks guys!

After plugging and unplugging the cables going to the effects loop, I found that increasing my return level to +3 (slightly under threshold) gives me good results. My volume has certainly increased and dynamics has dramatically improved. I love being a noob; it makes little simple discoveries...

I think this was my main concern with modding the recto. If I get it modded, I'd still like to be able to get the same stock lead tones.
