So your putting delay in the series loop? Do you feel that having so many effects in the loop takes away any tone or crunch? I have most of mine in between guitar and amp. Using the RM100 head.....

I have had the 1086 for a while and it has always been noisy. It started getting real bad so I took it back to shop where I bought it. They are having a licensed repair guy check it out. He has no RM head to test it so I am curious what he is doing to it.
