Amp: B-52 AT-212 I don't know which preamp tube is the "first" preamp tube. Obviously I have a 50/50 chance of getting it but I'd like to get it on the first try so I don't need to wait for the amp to cool down again. When looking through the back of the amp, I see four big tubes (the 6l6's), then 6 little tubes (preamp tubes) to the right. Then to the right of the preamp tubes I see two tubes inside a metal barrier. Those must be the effects loop and reverb tube. I would expect some sort of labeling system, like "PREAMP TUBE 1." or "POWER AMP TUBE 1." But nope. And I can't find any diagrams for my amp. Which preamp tube is usually the first preamp tube in a amp set up like mine?
