Ha... Tube didn't fix it? (I'm guessing) Mine was really noisy til I found the right tubes... Fortunately I have a Bigass box of tubes to try from. You really gotta get the gain knob up on that sucker too, which makes it even more difficult.

Or wait the noisy one was the snakebite... so does this mean the snakebite is better with the new tube?

It was the Snakebite I was having noise issues with. This one is relatively quiet for a such high gain. I am still waiting on the tube I ordered to try in the other one.
