In case of still repeated questions about Twinface vs. Loneclean I did yesterday face to face comparison.
And it confirmed all informations mentioned before. Both are great, they are similar sometimes, but different on the end and mostly it is about personal taste, not quality of sound.
So very quick and analytical point of view.....
Twin - much wider range of gain
Lone - more detailed adjustment of sound
Twin - warmer, thicker
Lone - brighter, tighter
in many settings sounded similar or same, but this is main difference.
So my advice is:
when you like really bright, sparkling clean/crunch = Loneclean
when you like nice warm clean/crunch = Twinface

As exactly as this poll showed, that lovers of both are equal, like vanhalen 51:50
PS: Both mods has more clarity than stock Clean, Blackface and has much more character and of course mojo 8)
PPS: I?m not sure if it helps....Tony prefers Loneclean......I prefer Twinface. F**k, tie again
