Hi, you'll have to pardon my ignorance, but the RM 50 - do I need a head to run this through? Or just plug in some speakers and I'm ready to go?

You would plug the output of the RM4 into the effects loop return and use the speaker outs on the RM 50. You can also use the two channels of the RM 50 if you have a few other pieces of gear, for a total of 6 channels! Hope this helps.
