Not sure why, probably aquiring a TS9 again & seeing the VTM 60 pics, but the last few days I have been thinking of the gear I have had in the past. I know we have all gone through it where we sold something then regretted it for 1 reason or another. Or we were glad to get rid of it. Here is my list, what have you guys gone through over the years?

Guitars:
Gibson strat type guitar of some sort (1st guitar it was a rental).
BC Rich Warlock (should have never sold)
Ibanez strat (had 6 or 7 buttons that did different things - don't miss it)
Ibanez Destroyer (ugh is all I will say)
Epiphone Les Paul Custom (same a Warlock)
Hamer sunburst Archtop (want to sell)
Jackson DXMG
Jackson King V Pro

Amps/Racks:
Fender solid state practice amp of some sort (rental that came with Gibson guitar)
Peavey Bandit 110 (what an upgrade huh  )
Peavey mini stack (should have gone with the Marshall instead)
Peavey VTM 60 & 4x12 cab may have been Peavey as well (I kind of miss this now)
JCM800 (not really mine, but as often as I played it, it might as well have been)
Rockmaster Preamp (at 1 point I was running this into the VTM 60 power section)
Peavey Classic 30 (should have kept)
Peavey transtube combo (2x12)
Tubefex w/ Classic 50/50 & Hot Cabs 2x12 cab
Vox VT30 (I should get rid of this)
RM4 (not going anywhere)
KH1 (traded for Clean)
Clean, SL+, Mr Scary (these all are staying)
Velocity 300 (so far so good)
Peavey 4x12 cab (still have, needs some Super Vs I think)

Effects:
Boss OD1
Boss OD2? (I forget the model but it had a crunch & a lead setting)
Boss MT2
Boss GE7
Boss DD3
Boss Reverb (I don't remember the model name - didn't like it much either)
Boss Chorus (I don't remember if it was 1 or 2)
Ibanez TS9 (should have kept that one)
Univibe (I should have kept this as well)
Boss ME-X (neat idea for the time & I should have kept this)
Digitech Grunge (momentary laps of sanity :? )
Dunlop Cry Baby Wah (I'm not much of a wah guy so who cares)
Rocktron Xpression (so far I am ok with it, except there is no bypass feature)
Morley Volume pedal

Kind of Strange how the Amps & effects lists are larger than the guitar list.

Oh geez here is my ginormous list of goodies.

Guitars:
Martin Sigma acoustic (mid 80's)
Cheap Sears catalog strat
82 or so Kramer Frankenstein
87 Kramer Beretta (owned by my nephew now)
Jackson Custom 24 fret (broken during its first gig)
Esp horizon (replaced the Jackson)
Ernie Ball Music Man silhouettes (2 matching with Floyds, one had a Fernandez sustainer)
EBMM Axis (one red, one blue, one had a sustainer)
Fernandez Sustainer guitar (sacrificed to install the sustainer in the red axis)
EBMM Axis Super sport with piezo
Carvin Acoustic (replaced by EBMM with piezo)
EBMM Axis sport with vintage trem (studio ax, sounded better than the floyds)
Epiphone Les Paul (white with dimarzios)
Ibanez rg frankensteins (one 550 one 570 both with 550 maple necks, 570 had maniac music sustainiac and a layover pickguard)
Ibanez RG7620 (with layover pickguard)
Ibanez SZ320 with dimarzios
Ibanez SZ520QM with dimarzios
Epiphone Les Paul cherry burst with dimarzios
Epiphone Explorer natural Korina with dimarzios
ESP LTD EC-1000's with dimarzios (one black with floyd, one blue with TOM bridge, one white with piezos)
ESP LTD MH-307 (green with floyd original 7 and dimarzios)

Amps:
Sears catalog amp that matched strat
Cheap crate amp (think it was a stealth)
Peavey 5150
Marshall JCM of some sort and Plexi reissue (stolen then recovered)
Mesa Blue Angel
Johnson JM-120 (wish these would come back) that ran to a Peavey 120 watt tube power amp and 5150 cabs
Line6 vetta and eventually vetta II with 5150 cabs
Randall RM4 and RT2/50 and R212

FX:
Original Space Echo
Digitech RP1
Lexicon MPX G2 with a midi controller the brand of which escapes me
Line6 POD (replaced the Vetta during my "don't need no amp" days and was replaced by Randall gear)
TC Electronic G System and Nova Drive
Rocktron Intellifex LTD
Various pedals

That was quite the trip down memory lane. Reminds me of a lot of GAS

Peace, Joshua

Holy crap how could I forget the grunge years. Aside from my playing degrading and suspect tone, I forgot about the Big Muff pedal.
**** that thing sounded mean as hell. I should have kept that as well.

yeah, those civil war and early green russian Muffs were something really special, they blow any modern muff clear out of the water for clarity, girth and just plain ol' fashioned TONE!!! thankfully there's some amazing boutique clones out there, even built a few myself. can't quite bring myself to spend $300 bucks to get an original that i bought in '95 for $65 bucks. :(

I think (er, hope) this is everything I've owned over the years...

http://www.gearacquisitionsyndrome.com/2009/11/long-gone-gear.html

(then again, that's not the list of gear I currently own... just what I've gotten rid of...)

Yeah, I like stuff. :)
