I have an opportunity to trade my slightly beat up Epi Les Paul Custom for a mint Bugera V55hd Head. Ive listened to all the clips on youtube and it sounds like a decent amp, I have also heard of them failing at bad time and one guy even told me his caught on fire.. anyone have any experience with them?

All I can add is that I recently met some friends at a rehearsal studio to jam for the first time in years. There was a Marshall DSL 100 and a Bugera. The Bugera sounded so much better. Maybe it was one of those fluke amps, 1 out of 1000 that just nail it. But, it was GOOD.
