Randall rm100 and rm50. I like heavy metal type music and hard rock . Looking to upgrade speakers any suggestion? v30 greenbacks, man of war g12t . What do you guys like?

I may have one of those in a 1x12 cabinet. I forget which speaker I put in it. It's been a long time. It's either that or the texas heat. I will have to check.

Check out this link-http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=jWK0sa7tlfI&playnext_from=TL&videos=bkRoJK9GlTo

the T75s are cool for metal/hard rock.

As mentioned above, the Emi Swamp thangs are very cool too. Great mid voicing

G12K-100s have been a sleeper speaker that are finally getting the recognition they deserve....Check out Mick Thomson's signature cab....They are designed for lower tunings because the big *** magnet can handle the lows without making them loose....If you are playing standard tuning or drop D then I would suggest g12t-75....or even an combination of t-75 and vintage 30...thats what I run and I couldnt be happier

I like v30 celestions but since they are now made in China and they are STILL over priced...I looked around and found Wherehouse Veteran 30 speakers...same thing..in fact, better!
Slightly less high end (read: icepick in your ear) than a Celestion V30 at a reasonable price..and made in the USA...
I have em side by side with 2 V30s and I couldnt be happier.
Its basically 95% a Celestion v30.

+1 on droptrd and rbailey. Vintage 30, that's speaker all Mesa users have, a lot of people who play "kid metal" use, and you see BB posts "trying to dial out this upper mid spike..."

Also, Scumback M75, uber choice, available in 65 and 100 watts for your RM100!

Would like to hear the newer Eminences on a Marshall. I have the Splawn Eminences on my Quickrod, where they work great, but not for everything!

I would go for Fane Speakers if I could afford it - theold ones are best but hard to access unless someone is taking their cab apart for parts - sale.

George Lynch really likes the old ones apparently.
