Where do you guys have your volume knobs set?

Currently, mine are as follows:

Each module volume is between 10 and 2 o'clock.
RM4 master volume is at 12 o'clock.
Power amp (VHT 2/50/2) volumes 10-11 o'clock.

I just realized I've never really experimented with any other settings (i.e., reduce input level to power amp and the power amp, etc).

How do you have yours set?

I set mine so that the effects loop is at line level (as reported by the Xpression) and then set the output level of the Xpression so that it sounds the same if I unplug it from the loop. My master is at about 3 o'clock usually. I use a hotplate at home to get less volume, and go without with the band.

I'm contemplating trying 6V6's like Ned recommends because it's still too loud even with the hotplate at home. It might mean that I need to mic with the band though.

Modules about 10, Master between 1-2 on my RM50 head with 6V6's.

I've got the amps master volume on my RM100 head dimed, full on onslaught. The master volumes on the modules are at around 9 to 10 o-clock. This was reccomended by the Randall R&D guy.
