My apologise if this has already been covered, but it seems the RT2/50 power amp has been discontinued. Through my search on this I read a small blip on some forum about Randall replacing it with a newer power amp but I don't see one on the site.

You guys have any details on this. To date this is the only dedicated power amp I am aware of that can switch from 6L6 to EL34 on the fly.

Did you mean the RT2/50? I haven't heard of an RT2.

It looks like the RT2/50 is indeed missing from the Randall site right now.

Yes that was what I was refering to.

Missing from Sweetwater and Amazon as well.

Hopefully Randall or someone else will come up with another power amp like this

I do believe they are no longer available, although you can still find them used pretty often. That's how I got mine. Awesome power amp.

What the ..

How did this happen now? :?

I hope they do develop an even more flexible poweramp.
An RT2/50 with auto-biasing, power-scaling and maybe other tricks would blow my mind! :D
Perhaps an added third solid state channel? (unlikely, but would be cool to see Randall go back to their roots).
