Guys,
I'm new at this and I need a bit of education.
So Egnater has a modular system and Randall does too.
Randall and Egnater both worked on these together
and all of the modules are compatible with both systems?
But the different amps that they fit in to have different tubes,
electronics, etc. allowing each amp to have it's own flavor.
So a Lynch Box and an RM100 will sound very differnt?
Are there any features or modules that are not cross compatible
to all amps? For example, a new Lynch Box module doesn't
work with the Egnator amp or certain Egnater modules won't
work with certain Randall amps?
Is there a document somewhere that breakes down the differences
between each compatible module and amp?
Have you found modules that sound great in one amp, but not
in another?
I got to spend about 5 minutes playing through a Lynch Box stack at NAMM and I was blown away. It really sounded amazing. But I didn't
get a chance to play any of the other MTS models or the Egnater amps.
Thanks for any feedback.
Jace
