Has anyone had any problems with the loops on their amps? I am having a hard time getting my eventide delay to sound right.
 
The loops on the RM series amps are line level. I've never tried that pedal, but I'm guessing that's your issue.
 
Eventides will clip in the loop of any MTS head. Get some gadget to lower the gain off the loop (A LOT) into the pedal then raise the gain on the way back to the power amp. JF step pedal does just that, and there are other loop buffers that do it. Even rack effects will clip in those loops if the master volume is up high. The loop in these amps are very poorly designed.
