Can anyone verify that the JJ 6V6 tubes do work?

I remember researching this here to find a bunch of different views on this. Is there an established answer to the 6V6 question?

IE.....will any brand of 6V6 work with the high plate voltage of the RM amps?

I'm pretty sure the JJ's are said to be a go but i don;t know how many folks have done it successfully....

btw, I'm not really trying to lower the output, just trying different sounds, especially with Supra and Twinface......

The Eminence attenuated Maverick speaker lowers output by a lot and still sounds good.

JJ's are the only brand of 6V6 that will work.
