I'm always listening/watching!

I would think that a lot of people are hesitant to run pedals for their dirt because they feel they need the tubes. I always preferred tube amps BUT I haven't tried a lot of the newer pedals and you are right, there is some very convincing stuff out there.

As for those AMT pedals, I thought their intended purpose was to be run through the loop using the output stage of the amp rather than going through the front end or front of a module. They make a line of pedals for out front as well but the one you listed is best in the loop.

I don't know why more players aren't running pedals thru
their clean modules

there are some really incredible pedals out there !

Hey Kapo, if your reading this "check out kingmans P2 vid for instant EVH !!

Burgs reported an audio issue with that version. Check out the 'remaster':

Kapo, as explained in the video, there are 3 outputs - one for into the front of an amp, one into a poweramp, another for direct

I own both the C2 & VT2 = in front or in the loop either work Great !!

also, doesn't have to be a clean tube amp

modellers work just fine

as far as kingmans remastered P2 vid - the "reported an audio issue"
is an anomoly at best

I owmed older AMT pedals an these "legend series" are definitely a step in the right direction

and each output sounds a bit different tonally

plus you can use ALL 3 AT ONCE !!!!

Were they always designed with three different output options? That is design genius. Makes it perfect for a traveling musician or someone who wants to gig light and doesn't know what type of amp will be available to him.

for the record I didn't think that VH demo was remotely close. That said, I think he records a lot of pedals direct does he not? Not a bad tone for direct recording. In a band mix it would probably do just fine. Nobody cares about what tube amp you are using in a little club..
