I do have already a MarkUs.
For double tracking with slightly a different sound I am looking
for a close competitor in the same vain.
Since I live in Europe Salvation is the most logical buy.

Something Orange, it would have that sort of midrange but different. Antonin makes several flavors.

Perhaps mattfig will shine in.

You could change the tubes? or use another guitar?

warmachine67s' suggestion is good, i would suggest the Mandarine Graphic as both modules have the EQs early in the preamp.

i have the treadplate,it's an over saturated distortion,
dropping the mids 0-3 and bass around 4 and treble near 6 distortion about 6-7 you can get a descent metallica sound.

That's a very interesting advice!
Somehow I always overlook Orange because it looks too retro for me.
My Mandarine module is very full sounding but also the only module that can handle clean to high gain.
I am interested in the MarkUs or alternatives too.
The tightness in my MarkIV is what I still remember after selling it.
If Orange/Mandarine Graphic can do this too it is tempting to order...

Hmm, I'm having second thoughts about that suggestion now, sorry.
Tight is the opposite of a vintage orange (graphic)
The eq placement is where the similarities end.
It's a different type of eq.
Mesa has more gain stages.
If I wanted something similar to the markus, I would get a mark module from jaded faith.
I don't think location matters much in this context. Everyone has turnaround times. Shipping from the US is usually a reasonable cost and fast
