Hi everyone,

I just got my Deluxe module in the mail today, and while I was moving my Ultra module to the middle spot, I overtightened the left thumb screw (serves me right for using a screwdriver) and the screw snapped off inside the amp itself. I'm aware of various methods of extracting screws that have broken off inside the thread, but if one of you has remedied this sort of thing before, I'd like to know how. If I had some very skinny, needle-nosed pliers, I think I could get it out.

Would appreciate your help!

Cheers

If your amp is an RM100 or RM4 you could take it apart to get access to the back of the thread.
The screw is a bit longer than the thread insert.
You can use pliers to unscrew the remains and remove it from the back side.

Thanks for your reply. This was my first thought but I have never taken an amp apart before. I understand the conceptually but never put it into practice.

So were you able to remove the screw? Looks like I have the same problem :?
