I never understood that myself. Why keep selling off that CCV? Its been around the block and thru many hands. Over rated? Clips sound good....but I know its a one trick pony.

This is a great idea .
I have said it before they need to get all the builder .
They should contract out and get the real deal a production model of Dave F Hairy brown Eye , A Cameron module ..

I mean there is rumours of the Soldano ..just go to Mike maybe he would be intrested the worst he can say is no .

Honestly, am not interested in another modded Marshall...like the man himself says, the output is the sum of all the parts and I'll be stunned if it can capture the CCV tone.....

Heh...but I'd like to see Randall (or Egnater) invest some more time in the power section of these amps...it can't hurt to have more options there.

I'm still on the fence about the RT2/50...granted I've never tried any other dedicated power amp...but I think it could be improved upon...likewise the head power sections too.
