New video and debut album info

Post by vindaloo » Wed Jul 28, 2010 10:35 am

Hey guys,

We just put together our first video for a new song called 'Bother':

We're also getting ready to release our debut album on Aug 28. Release party location and details are still in the works, but the album will be for sale on our site (http://www.whiskeysin.com), iTunes, Amazon, CDBaby, etc.

Unfortunately we're also looking for a bassist! Murphy's Law--we just get things rolling and our bassist moves out of state for work. So any bass players in the Chicago/Milwaukee area drop me a line :)

What module/settings are you using there? Good hard rockin' tone.

Thanks man--glad you dig it. I'm a HUGE fan of the SL+ module (with the JCM800 mod), so that's the basis of my sound. I've got EL34s in the power section, and I'm running through a Randall XL 4x12. I don't remember all of the settings off the top of my head, but typically the master is at about 2 o'clock, and the modules run about 11 o'clock. I also like to keep the mids way up to add some grit.
