i'm replacing the choke on a rm100 with a mercury magnetics choke. neither of the wires are marked on either of the chokes, factory or mm. just looking at teh choke with a left and right wire comming from the bottom of the windings.

mount the choke the same way and route and wire the wires the same way to the pcb terminals identifing them left and right facing from the choke?

thanks, happy easter

A choke is simply a coil of wire wrapped around a core. It is used
to smooth out the rectified DC, so, it doesn't make any difference, the two leads are interchangeable. It's basically a low pass filter.
