Just bought another used Blackface and it was damaged. Module still works but not completely up to par. Any help with what I need to do?

First that cap needs replacing. Electrolytic caps work by having two strips of material with a space between them to charge and discharge. The material is then rolled up and placed into the cylinders that we then buy at the parts store. If that cap is smashed in as it appears to be then you probably no longer have the space between the two sheets of material and your cap is now an open, not a cap. So i'd definitely replace that thing.

Peace, Joshua

+1 on all the advice. It looks like the cap took the whole hit.
I would unsolder both caps, get either an eye loop or 2x to 4x
magnifying glass and carefully look for any damage to the traces
or the boards. You're looking for any tiny cracks or separations.
Then go ahead and replace the caps.

I figured definite repair. There is separation on one leg of the cap.
I have had a Blackface before and they are great for fender cleans.
This one just doesnt have full life. It still plays and sounds okay but
like the fullness of sound just isnt there. Are there any upgrades that can
be made to help tone?

SoZo capacitors, a nice NOS tube, and some tweaks to mod it closer to a Deluxe.

I second all the advice here. I was just laughing about how I could have missed the dent on that cap this morning but it was before my coffee started working!
