How many of you have the Grail Tone module?
It seemed like everyone was dying for a VH1 tone module,
but once this was released to great reviews I didn't hear about it much after.
What's the deal with these guys?

I got one and it does what it is supposed to do. It is a fat rounded Marshall sound, that is great for VH riffs and leads.
If you love that sound, get one ...

Uh, badass? I think it's more VHII, hence my faceplate. **** nice mod, what you wanna know?

I love mine.... Lots of great Plexi tones under the hood. It's definitely not a one trick pony.

I know I know....I promised to do a demo and never got around to it because Rob has to tune the bottom end on mine before I do so. All in all, it's a great VH module that will cover lots of plexi tones.

There really aren't that many differences between all of the Marshall modules. It's more vintage sounding than the Brahma and Quickmod, just a different flavor compared to the 59RR and others. I can get my grail tone to do a great AC/DC and other typical Marshall tones. It's definitely not a one-trick pony, it's just a great Marshall module tuned to get the VH sound.

Get one!
