I've uploaded the current version of my component spreadsheet to my web site. You can download this Microsoft Excel file using the following link.

Please download 2 files: both the spreadsheet file and a Microsoft Word document that explains how the spreadsheet was developed, how to update the spreadsheet, and how to email updates back to me so I can incorporate your updates in the "master" version.

Here are the links:

Please chip in with updates and let's make this a valuable reference.
Thanks to all who have already helped.
Graham

Super cool of you to do this.
I don't see the Brahma, Scary, GTO. I will either try to get these #s to you or at least maybe get some quality gut shots to get to you.

By the way, thank you again. 8)

This is awesome, but if put the purpose of the component next to it's number you almost wouldn't need a schematic. Like R16 stage one cathode resistor. Or at least some kind of key.

Great job Graham !

Quick suggestion: add a tab (first tab) in the EXCEL spreadsheet and paste the instructions/info (WORD doc) there. That way it'll all be together in one file.

I was going to say about the sig. modules.. are we some how implying that they should be secret by leaving them out? Brahma, Judge, Scary, Grail, should all be up there too.

This is cool! I appreciate the time some people are putting into this.
Surely the sigs could be up there too, sometimes we may want to mod to a sig module values.

To clarify ...

I'm not against adding the Signature modules to the spreadsheet. The only values I will NOT add are those for modules that have been MODIFIED by one of our esteemed professional modders, such as Jaded Faith, Salvation, etc.

I don't own any Signature modules, so I'm at the mercy of you guys out there who own them and don't mind putting in about 20 minutes per module to add their values to the spreadsheet.

To date, response has been pretty luke warm to this project. I haven't received any updates in over a month. Perhaps this effort is not worthwhile after all.

I for one am really glad you've put this together, as a new MTS owner. Although I only have modules that are already on there I'm afraid, but it's given me some change ideas I want to make!

So thank you.

Graham,
Your work is exceptionally worth while. I think it's simply a
result of the monetary situation at present. There is no "extra"
available to experiment with.

Maybe we can all take a shot at updating this. Referencing my '08 SL+ , '11 Plexi , and '05 Blackface, there seems to be several discrepancies.

NOTE: There's a link to the current version of my component spreadsheet in my following post. You can download this Excel spreadsheet if you wish.

Several members of this forum, including Rob at Jaded Faith, have commented on the fact that Randall tweaked resistor and capacitor values for each module almost on a daily basis. In spite of this, I am enthusiastic about updating the component spreadsheet.

Wherever resistor and capacitor variations exist, I can note this on the spreadsheet. This will help all the do-it-yourself modders out there. At least you'll know which components are likely candidates for experimentation.

Please PM or EMAIL me with values for any of the modules I don't already have listed, and if you are sending me values for modules that are already listed, please indicate those values that differ from the spreadsheet.

I'll include component values for stock modules and signature modules but I WILL NOT include values for modules that have been modded by a professional modder such as Jaded Faith

Not bad taste at all ... I don't have any of those modules so I need folks to volunteer that info. The current spreadsheet includes ALL modules I currently own plus those that others on this forum have submitted to me by email.

Elsewhere on this forum, there are comments about the newer XTC with black face plate being better than the older silver or black-stripe versions.

So far, my component spreadsheet has component values for the XTC black-stripe version.

Is there anyone with a black face-plate XTC who'll volunteer to add component values to the spreadsheet? If so, we would all benefit from comparing values between the 2 versions.

I'd offer up the Judge and Brahma values but it would be a pain in the *** using a resistor chart to make sure i got the values right. How about i post some gut shots and then let you know the value of all the caps? The resistors are self explanatory for someone who can figure out the values based on the bands. (I consult a resistor chart or app that lets me know what value the resistor is)

Hello everyone,

I'm new to the forum and have been following a few threads for interest. I happen to have the newer all blackface XTC module. I'll be happy to add the specs and submit. You all seem like a great bunch of tone chasing junkies and I'd love to jump in. Give me a day or so to get this info in.

Any update on getting any of the newer modules into the Spreadsheet (Lynch and Ian mods).

I'd love to see these added to the database if people are up for submitting values.

I can submit values for the Judge to add to the database if that helps if no one has submitted info for that yet.

Although it would be off-topic, maybe we could post this request elsewhere to get a kind soul to provide the values or some darn good pictures :)

For looking up resistor values, you can use this to enter the color codes.

Or for a nice cross reference on cap values between pf, nf, uf -- this is what I use.
