Hi all i currently own a randall g2 100 w head with the ra412xc cab
2 of the speakers have blown inside and i have just ben quoted ?353 i only paid ?299 brand new 2 years ago to replace all 4 speakers cause apparently they are damaged

Now i have been using a marshall 4x12 cab with celestion g12-75t's in it and they sound great

The question i have is do i need to put 8 ohm or 16 ohm speakers into it
Any help greatly appreciated

Right well i found out i have 8 ohm speakers inside but the wiring has been removed from the speakers and i dont know in what order they go back in

HELP NEED TO GET THIS SORTED :(

You have to take the positive from the input jack(tip)to the positive connection of one speaker, then take the negative wire from the input jack(ring)and connect it to the opposite speakers negative connection, then there should be a sigle wire left and it goes from the first speakers negative the the other speakers positive,it's a series wiring and it makes the speakers 16 ohms .hope this helps,I'll try to put up diagram.....

Hey cheers for the responses i think i should be able to figure this out

Well hopefully anyway

Cheers again
