Ok, like my other post about the RS412LB Lynch Box cabinet, I am now confused by the Nuno Bettencourt NB412 cabinet also. 2009 Randall Catalog ( http://www.randallamplifiers.com/images/stories/manuals/Randall_2009_Catalog.pdf ) has the NB412 cabinet listed as containing 4x Celestion Greenback 30 speakers, with 300W RMS power handling. This is also the info on Musician's Friend ( http://www.musiciansfriend.com/guitars/randall-nuno-bettencourt-nb412-100w-4x12-guitar-speaker-cabinet ) and some other websites. So these Celestion Greenback 30 speakers are a 75W speaker, maybe a G12T-75 or a Greenback G12H(75) Heritage? Anyone ever heard of a Greenback 30?

So then, the 2010-2011 Randall catalog ( http://www.randallamplifiers.com/images/stories/manuals/RandallCatalog2010-11.pdf ) as well as the Randall website ( http://www.randallamplifiers.com/Products/Signature-Series-Products/Nuno-Bettencourt.html), Amazon ( http://www.amazon.com/Randall-NB412-Bettencourt-Signature-Amplifier/dp/B003IPCNTU/ref=sr_1_3?ie=UTF8&qid=1328185338&sr=8-3 ), Beyond Eleven ( http://www.beyondeleven.com/Randall-NB412-p/randall-nb412.htm ) etc., etc., etc., list the NB412 as having 25W Celestion Greenback speakers with 100W RMS power handling. WTF? These must be the Celestion Greenback G12M Classic 25W speakers right?

I bought the head and CAB and haven't had a chance to open the CAB up yet to see what's inside, but I am wondering if an earlier version of the NB412 came with some version of a 75W Greenback, and now comes with the traditional G12M 25W Greenback, or if the info posted on Randalls 2009 catalog, MF website, etc. are all wrong in stating it had 300W RMS and this thing ALWAYS came with 25W Greenbacks with a 100W RMS rating or vis-a-vis. I'm just trying to figure out what this CAB really comes with and what it came with before. It seems to me that a 100W head is a way too powerful for 4 25W speakers, so I can't imagine why they would change it if they had some kinda 75W's in it before.

I got all the info I needed. NB412 comes with and has always come with Celestion Greenback 25w speakers. Nuno has been playing them for the longest. I'm sure he stacks 2 cabs for his amps, so I'll def. be careful running this cab with a 100w head, but really glad I got it!
